Splendid Performance of NGAC, Gozaria in Rangotsava 2022
Reminding the glorious performances carried out during 2016-17 and 2017-18 as part of Rangotsava and Ashta-Dashabdi Mahotsava respectively, Shree Gozaria Kelavani Mandal celebrated Rangotsava 2022 on December 29 and 30, 2022. In the said programme all the educational institutes under the umbrella of Shree Gozaria Kelavani Mandal participated enthusiastically. As part of this Rangotsava, Nima Girls Arts College presented two activities on December 30, 2022. The first performance of the Higher Education Institute was in the form of the special folk dance of Gujarat i.e. ‘Garbo’, the characteristic words of which were “MOTI VERANA CHOWK MAA…” In the said event as many as ten girls participated in the traditional Gujarati dress. The audience felt really elated to watch the performance, highlighting the traditional folk dance of Gujarat for which the state is well-known over the globe. The second performance of the HEI was in the form of drama. The drama was entitled as “BELAAJ BADSHAH”, a dramatic presentation based on the story of a celebrated Hindi author Mohan Rakesh, entitled Paramatma Ka Kutta. In the said drama as many as nineteen dramatis persona participated. The said drama satirizes the harassment of the general masses in the administrative pattern of India
